It's been a while and we hope you've all been keeping well during the lockdown and social restrictions. With the new school term just around the corner, the Grange Players management committee has discussed the possibility of reopening the drama group while maintaining the current social distancing restrictions.
As it stands right now, there will be no adult performance in September 2020 or a pantomime in February 2021.
We are exploring alternatives we can do instead, including the possibility of filming short scenes or sketches and uploading them to our YouTube channel.
We would like to see how many adult and junior members are interested in returning to drama. We're aiming for a return on Tuesday 15th September 2020.
Upon returning, the following new rules must be followed by everyone.
Each member will be expected to maintain at least 1-metre distance from each other. (Unless they are from the same household).
Each member must wash their hands when they arrive, and again when they leave.
There will be no physical contact between members.
Members will need to bring their own drinks until further notice.
If a member has developed any recent symptoms (such as a dry persistent cough or high temperature), they must not attend drama for period of no less than two weeks.
