The Panto
Firstly, the adult section would like to say a BIG ‘Well Done’ to all the juniors who took part in our recent Panto – we believe it was the best we have done so far and that was down to the hard work put in by everyone. We are not sure how well we have done financially, but well enough to put some money in the bank ready to go towards new equipment to improve the quality of the productions we can put on.

Thanks go to all parents who have supported us by making sure their children turned up on time, properly dressed and ready to make their best efforts in rehearsals and during the shows. Also thanks to those parents who quietly help in the background – in the kitchen, by making cakes, helping to clear up and take down the set and just being there – you know who you are.

We are extremely proud of our junior section and hope that you are proud of your children too – they are a credit to you. We hope they all enjoyed themselves as much as we did and now know why we spend so much time going over and over the same things to put on a good show.

What’s Next?
We were delighted to see the large turnout on Tuesday following half-term – it was great to see so many keen, enthusiastic faces. You may well have been told by your children that we are now working towards a ‘specially written for children’ version of Grease – the Musical. Doreen and Barbara have managed to get hold of a particularly well written script with some accompanying music and we hope to receive it soon. In the meantime practice has started already on some of the songs and some of the children are keen to do some solo’s!
